"See it, Say it!" Board Game 3rd Grade
Students practicing class commands in Spanish by playing "See It, Say It" a board game race that has pictures of actions (verbs that I use to give directions like paint, glue, stand up, listen during class). The students must say the action in order to advance.
Dancing "La Cucachara" in First Grade
The country of study for our cultural unit in first grade is Mexico. In this gallery you see the students dancing to the tunes of one of Mexico's most popular folk songs.
Show and Tell and Feliz Cumpleaños
Two of the things that students enjoy most in the Spanish class are ...
- To celebrate their birthday by wearing the Cumpleaño's hat.
- To bring something from home related to the unit they are learning about.
Third Grade Research about Guatemala
Third grade started the projects related to their Cultural unit about a month ago. These are shots of the kids researching information about Guatemala with a partner, they are using the National Geographic web page for kids to answer a questionnaire about the country.
